Skateboard Park	Andrew P gave update on skateboard park (Eagle project) ·       Planning to provide; grind rail, grind box, quarter pipe and launch ramp ·       Tim Berscheid has offered to donate a half pipe ·       Currently $475 in donations: $200 from Lions Club, $200 from American Legion, Hair Salon and TKs Lounge has also provided donations ·       Sno Flyers has promised to make a donation through the city ·       Ernie stated that the school has agreed to have the park in the south corner of the parking lot for 2007 – will move park to Veterans Park in 2008 if usage justifies a permanent location ·       Discussed having a skateboard demonstration during Holdingford Daze (7/14) ·       No need to post park hours – curfew will effectively limit usage after 9:30	·       Andrew to look at condition of school lot ·       Holdingford Daze: ·       Move equipment to main street for demo ·       Arrange team from skate shop for demo ·       Notify horse teams school south parking lot may not be available for trailers
Lake Wobegon Trail	·       Iraq surge may affect timeline for covered bridge ·       Noted recent newspaper and radio coverage of plans for bridge	·       Craig to finalize letter of support for proposed project ·       Discuss how to address river bank issues
Economic Development Committee	·       Grocery Store ·       Recruiting owner is preferred option, co-op is secondary option ·       Potential short term option is to coordinate delivery through Coborns to a selected site/agency in Holdingford	·       Discuss Motley Staples co-op at next meeting ·       Discuss Economic Development Authority
Tourism update	·       Committee is defunct due to lack of interest ·       Discussed initiatives that can be continued by existing committees	·       Discuss publication/advertisements in St Cloud Festival guide, Explore Minnesota, Lake Wobegon Trail Visitors Guide and other biking magazines
Garden Club update	·       Stearns County has approved installation of electric for community Christmas tree and fountain ·       Waiting on approval from St Cloud Rail Line Authority ·       Summer goal: expand garden to east side of trailhead ·       Future goal: plantings around box car	·       Work with Jim’s Snowmobile to avoid potential conflicts over possible need for additional boat storage near trailhead
Historical Society update	·       Ernie did not attend but stated that the planned meeting with Tim Glines, Manager of Outreach Services for The Minnesota Historical Society took place at the February meeting ·       There seems to be considerable community interest in this project	None (information)
Comprehensive Plan update	·       Zoning committee held first meeting ·       Second meeting is scheduled for March	None (information)
Initiative Foundation	·       Paperwork for first grant was completed and turned in ·       IF is hosting a Community Center Workshop on Thursday 03/15	·       Craig to initiate paperwork for second grant ·       Craig (and Mike?) to attend Community Center workshop
